Want to Become More Confident? Do the Inner Work.

Confidence, Comfort, Certainty, and Calmness are all interconnected.

Confidence is being comfortable in your own skin.

Confidence is feeling certain about yourself and the decisions you make.

Confidence is a calm energy that exists within you.

Comfort

Having that "I can be who I am ” mindset no matter if there is an external shift around you (new environment, different people, or anything outside of your control). Few things are as powerful as authenticity. Never dim your own light.

Certainty

If you can’t provide certainty for yourself, you will constantly seek outside validation. That is where self-confidence is shattered.

Stop putting the job you can do for yourself into the hands of others.

If you feel good about what you’re creating and doing, that’s more than enough.

Other people applauding? A bonus. Unnecessary. Take it or leave it.

Are you certain in yourself and feel good about what you’re doing? That’s the real and worthwhile question.

Calm

Confidence doesn’t always have to be loud and noticeable. In fact, it’s quite the opposite. Confidence is calm. It’s the calm energy that exists within you. A feeling of inner peace. Being content with who you are, what you have, and where you currently are in your life.

You'll become more confident when you put in the inner work.

Why do you think Socrates encouraged us to "know thyself"?

Take the time to transform your most important relationship -

the one with yourself.

Journal, meditate, pursue hobbies, continuously learn, and definitely do more things that make your eyes light up.
